Did you know that all of the financial, real estate, bequests, etc. and fundraising donations we receive are strictly used for our home building efforts? It's a FACT! There are a number of ways that you can help us with our mission of building homes in Citrus County for families who have a need, an ability to pay and a willingness to partner. Which Gift if Right For You?

Planned Gifts:

Making a planned gift to Habitat for humanity of Citrus County, Inc. will have an impact that will be felt for generations to come, while also offering financial flexibility and tax benefits for you and your loved ones.

Wills and Trust:

One of the easiest ways to further our vital work is remember us in your will or trust. Known as a bequest, this form of giving is accomplished by working with your attorney to include a few simple sentences in your will or trust.

Retirement Plans and IRA’s:

When you designate us as a beneficiary of all or part of your retirement plan or IRA, the full amount will pass to us free of any income tax liability.

Life Insurance Policies:

You can put a no-longer-needed policy to good use and have flexibility as the gift is revocable at any time should your situation change. To qualify as a deductible gift, Habitat for Humanity of Citrus County, Inc. must become the policy owner, so forward the change-of-beneficiary form to your insurance company.
