The year 2018 is quickly coming to an end and the Construction Team
continues to move forward. Thank you to all of our Volunteers, Staff, Trades and
Partner Families for your participation in providing “a hand up, not a hand out”
in Citrus County.
Although we have faced many challenges this year, our Construction Team
alongside our Volunteers and Partner Families continue to strive towards
excellence. In order to be excellent, one must also be courageous. It takes
courage to pursue a dream of owning a home, and for many of our Partner
Families, this is the first time they have had an opportunity to be a homeowner.
Habitat for Humanity of Citrus County demonstrates our commitment to
ensure the success of each homeowner, by providing comprehensive training
sessions to each homeowner. Our staff, alongside our volunteers take the time
to train and show our Partner Families the responsibilities of homeownership.
Once in their new home, the challenge of maintenance comes into play. Each of
our homeowners must be diligent with their maintenance schedules.
We are currently building in Crystal River and are preparing to start
construction in Inverness by the end of year. We look forward to welcoming
new Volunteers, Partner Families and Staff to help us reach our goals for our
2018-2019 Fiscal Year. Let’s Build!
